The east gas pipeline between China and Russia which is located at china has start working in June last year. Formal gas supply is expected by the end of 2018.
For china, after completion of the east gas pipeline between China and Russia, The expected highest gas import may be up to 38 billion cubic meters.it will greatly alleviate the energy hungry to the eastern area of china.
In addition to good energy trade, the oil gas cooperation between china and Russia are expanding on upstream exploration, downstream refining, processing fields.
Russia now attract more Chinese company to invest them actively.so as to form a complete structure of energy cooperation.
In the upstream, the Yamal LNG project going well what china has deeply involved in.
Yamal project energy base has proven initial reserves of natural gas more than 900 billion cubic meters. Expected annual output up to 16.5 million tons of liquefied natural gas after put into production at 2019.
In the downstream field, the Tianjin Refining project will be put into production before 2020 which is a joint venture company between China and Russia, Also, Russia will supply crude oil each year to Tianjin Refining factory by sea in the future.
