Hinged type semi-rigid centralizer
Hinged type semi rigid centralizer is a kind of positive casing centralizer which is widely used for oilfield drilling cementing operation. this kinds of centralizer is especially used in casing overlap section in the wells.
Our CCSC technology semi-rigid centralizer is designed with hinged type and non-welded structure. Made by mold pressing and featured with robust construction. hinged type design make sure that it is easy for installation.it is can be dismountable for stacking, so as to reduce transportation cost.
Compared with ordinary rigid centralizer, the semi-rigid has a larger flow area.it is allowed that free rotation and slide up and down on the casing.it also can be locked on some place of the casing.it can clear the mud cake and clean the wall of a bore well during running casing. It can also raise displacement efficiency and help the cement slurry to produce rotating flow during cementing operation.it can also play a part of sliding bearing when casing rotation is required.
Our hinged type semi-rigid centralizer can also centralize the casing in inclined and horizontal Wells.
Usually the inner diameter of semi-rigid centralizer is larger than the outer diameter of casing from 1 to 4mm for ease of installation and the outer diameter of body is smaller than the casing coupling, in order to have sufficient flow area. We designed many O.D. size of the centralized bar, usually it is smaller than the well bore from 2 to 10mm.the length of this semi-rigid centralizer can be optional.
The centralized bar of hinged type semi rigid centralizer is made by pressing, it can work at under a certain amount of pressure, it can shrink when the working pressure is too high.in case it Stuck in the well
